It's just the brand and type I used in this video and what I have the most experience with. If your budget doesn't allow for this, use a different type or brand. This tutorial works with almost all types and brands of silicone. This is more about the process than the type or brand of silicone. Don't think you can't make a mold because the silicone used is too expensive. Try a different type of silicone that you can afford and have fun! It's always better to learn to use cheaper products and save money on high-quality silicone for your final mold if you want. Do what works for you and on your budget. Smooth On is my favorite brand because it's professional-grade. Not everyone needs or can afford it. That's okay.)
