Where is the expansion of main engine accommodated ?
The expansion of engine takes place at the forward end of the engine.
At aft part , the engine is anchored by thrust bracket and end stopper.
The thrust bracket is welded to tank top and attached by fitted bolts,liner shims with bedplace.
The direction of thrust is on forward side. End chocks have fitted bolts.
Rest of chocks don’t have fitted bolts.
Clearance bolts so expansion of engine takes place between holding down bolts and holes of clearance bolts.
