PR Newswire: OmniVision announces that it has partnered with CEA-Leti spin-off Wavelens to bring to market an MEMS AF technology instead of the dated VCM used in consumer devices today. OmniVision couples its 23.8MP OV23850 sensor with Wavelens' AF solution for flagship smartphones. Wavelens' MEMS motor principle of operation has been presented here some time ago.
