#V805
This engine has been meticulously disassembled by HRC technicians and will be auctioned in a beautiful display case containing all its components. Engine #V805 was used by Senna during the warm-up races for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit in October 1990 and during the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide on November 4, 1990. The original HRC certificate confirming the engine's authenticity is included.
Honda F1 engines from this era are typically sent back to Japan for analysis, disassembly, and fatigue testing, before being discarded. However, since 1990 was the final year for the V10 engine and development of the V12 engine began the following year, the V805 engine was preserved without disassembly, making it the last Honda F1 V10 engine used in competition by Ayrton Senna. It is a valuable piece of history.
